✙ Gstaad – WC training day 2

We went to the city of Gstaad last night to check it out. The castle reflects it’s history. During the Middle Ages it was part of the district of Saanen. The village core developed at the fork in the trails into the Valais and Vaud. It had an inn, a warehouse for storing trade goods and oxen to help pull wagons over the alpine passes by the 13th-14th centuries. Nowadays is known as a major Ski resort and a popular destination amongst the high society and the international Jet set. With designer names like Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chopard, Brunello Cucinelli, Prada, Moncler, Ralph Lauren, Cartier and many more, the city glows it’s title for being the most expensive one in the Swiss Alps.

Other than being kinda fascinated and self endowed with a Swiss knife, i woke up into a cloudy morning. Headed up to the course and started with a practice. I wish Lukas Trso and a french guy quick recovery since their crashes were pretty awful. Other than that we all feel pretty good and are excited for tomorrow’s qualis.
